孩子们带着照片去找顾叔叔。他看见第三张照片以后，没有让他们进店，而是把门关了一半。
“你们在哪里找到的？”他问。
“仓库。”小雨回答，“照片里有你吗？”
顾叔叔看着照片右边的人。那个人年轻、瘦，戴着圆眼镜，正是十五年前的林远。
“我不是他。”顾叔叔说。
陈可把林远的旧照片放在旁边。“那你为什么有他的声音？为什么长得这么像？”
顾叔叔终于打开门，让他们进去。他拿出身份证，放在柜台上。证件上的名字是顾平，但照片背后却写着两个字：林远。
“我没有杀人，也没有决定开哪一扇门。”他说，“可是我知道那天发生了什么。”
小雨问：“你为什么不说？”
林远看着旧收音机。“因为说了以后，事情不会只影响我一个人。”
