小雨根据铁片上的“R-17”查找旧电台的房间。R-17不是房间，而是山下仓库的一个货架编号。
他们在周叔叔的帮助下进入仓库。货架上有很多旧设备，最里面放着一个没有标签的木箱。
木箱里有三张照片、一张水坝地图和半盘磁带。第一张照片拍的是控制室，第二张照片拍的是下河街，第三张照片里有四个人站在一辆卡车旁边。
卡车上装着几个黑色箱子。箱子旁边站着赵明，也就是赵镇长的父亲。
陈可盯着照片很久。“我爷爷说他只是秘书。”
阿明拿起地图。“这些箱子可能不是设备。它们从水坝被送到了哪里？”
木箱底部还有一句铅笔字：不要相信没有日期的照片。
半盘磁带的标签已经被撕掉。他们还不知道照片是谁拍的，也不知道黑色箱子里装了什么。
