档案室里有应急委员会的会议目录，却没有会议内容。郑阿姨说，原来的记录在镇政府保存。
孩子们去找赵镇长。赵镇长看了目录，先说自己不知道，后来又说记录可能在搬办公室时丢了。
“一整次会议都丢了吗？”陈可问。
赵镇长看着她。“你父亲没有教你，问问题要有分寸吗？”
陈可脸色发白，却没有后退。“如果没有记录，大家怎么知道当时发生了什么？”
赵镇长沉默了一会儿。他从抽屉里拿出一张复印件，上面只有会议开始时间：晚上八点零五分。
“这是我能给你们的全部。”他说。
复印件的右下角有一个印章。小雨把它拍下来，发现印章日期比会议早了三天。
走出办公室后，阿明说：“这不是丢失。有人从来不想让它存在。”
