第二天放学以后，小雨、阿明和陈可去了顾叔叔的修理店。店里有很多旧收音机，墙上挂着不同大小的天线。
阿明把那盘磁带放在桌上。“顾叔叔，你听过这个声音吗？”
顾叔叔没有马上回答。他打开磁带，听到林远说“请不要打开南门”时，手里的螺丝刀掉到了地上。
“这台机器坏了。”他说。
陈可问：“你认识林远吗？”
顾叔叔转过身，开始整理一排工具。“很多人认识他。那又怎么样？”
小雨注意到墙上有一张旧照片。照片里，一个年轻男人站在电台门口。他的脸和顾叔叔很像。
离开修理店时，阿明小声说：“他一定知道很多事。”
小雨没有回答。她知道，知道秘密的人，不一定愿意告诉别人。
