阿明把半盘磁带清理干净，又用一台旧机器播放。声音断断续续，听起来像有人在很远的房间里说话。
他们听见林远的警告，也听见负责人命令他停止。但是在两段声音之间，还有一段新的对话。
“北门不能动。”一个男人说。
另一个人回答：“那就让南边承担。”
“下河街会被水冲掉。”
“报告会写成意外。”
录音到这里突然变成杂音。
陈可把声音放大，发现最后有一个很短的词，像是“赵”。
“这就能证明是赵明吗？”小雨问。
“还不能。”王老师说，“声音太短，也可能是别的名字。”
阿明很着急。“我们已经知道答案了。”
林远摇头。“知道答案和能够让别人相信答案，是两件完全不同的事。”
