小雨回家以后，奶奶正在厨房里洗杯子。小雨没有问她，只把何工的收据放在桌上。
奶奶看见收据，手停了下来。
“你们已经找到何工了。”她说。
小雨点点头。“奶奶，你那天晚上也在电台吗？”
很长时间，厨房里只有水声。最后，奶奶坐下来，说自己当时负责登记广播内容。九点十七分，林远发出了警告；九点十九分，电台负责人命令她把记录改成音乐节目。
“我改了吗？”小雨问。
奶奶闭上眼睛。“我改了。”
她解释说，负责人告诉她，如果不照做，电台里所有人的工作都会消失。她有两个孩子要养，丈夫也在水坝工作。
“这不是理由。”奶奶说，“只是我当时给自己的答案。”
小雨很难过。她一直以为奶奶只是一个不知道秘密的老人，现在才发现，奶奶也是这段历史的一部分。
